Cucalorus Film Festival (32nd Annual)

The 32nd Annual Cucalorus Film Festival brings five days of film screenings, performances, conversations, and social events to venues across historic downtown Wilmington. Founded in 1994 by the filmmaking collective Twinkle Doon, Cucalorus has grown from a single-night screening at Water Street restaurant into an internationally recognized celebration of independent film — named one of MovieMaker Magazine's "Coolest Film Festivals in the World" and one of the "50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" in 2025.
